Have a meal at an Indian restaurant and take note not only of the cuisine but of the decor, the music, the artwork, and even (if possible) the personal stories of the people who own or run it. Compare the experience what we’ve covered in class: are there things that relate to the Cybernetics of the Holy? The concept of the sacred vs. the profane/common? The formation of community identity? Write up a one page response essay discussing the experience and how it connects to these things.
