Research project
By writing a research paper/presentation about the music culture using at least three valid music resources. In this option, you must provide, embedded within the paper, at least a couple of musical examples and visual elements of the music culture that you are discussing that support and connect to your research! Your project should submitted in paper or presentation format (PowerPoint/ Keynote). I’ll also supply a list of resources that I would recommend for this project in BB. Listening examples will not count towards your three required resources. Often a wiki site bibliography will lead you to better, primary resources that are required for this project/paper. In addition, a trip to a larger urban library might be worth your time.
The paper should be 6-8 pages of text when completed. If you choose the presentation, you must still have the expected amount of text—some of it can be included on the slide, but most of it should be underneath the slides. Standard formatting applies here in the paper version.
