  1. Reslience: Choose a particular urban region. Outline how that urban region has been affected by climate change, what the responses have been, as well as any projections or plans for the future addressed in your sources. Is this urban region resilient? 2. Civil Society: It is often said that “civil society” plays an important role in responding to climate change. Choose a particular civil society organization (an activist or community group, a non-governmental organization, a social movement, a research institute, etc.) and outline what that organization is doing about the impacts of climate change upon urban regions. Are their efforts worthwhile? Who stands to benefit from these efforts? 3. Disaster Response: Choose a specific climate-related disaster that has occurred in an urban region since the year 2000. Outline the impacts of the disaster and its aftermath. Was the response adequate?
