Secondary Sources Bibliography
Choose five secondary sources, no older than 25 years old, and provide an alphabetically ordered, Chicago style bibliography. Write a 3-4 sentence annotations about each of the five sources that identifies the author and why you believe the source will be useful to your research project.
In historical scholarship, a secondary source is a source written by a historian who closely read the primary source record and other relevant secondary sources. This includes book and article length writings by historians. A speech by Abraham Lincoln is a primary source but a historian’s book about Lincoln is a secondary source. The sources you locate must support the research paper topic that you chose.
