Teaching/student learning

  For this project, you will research and create a podcast or an informational handout on one topic relevant to educational psychology. Your podcast or informational handout should aim to answer the following questions: Why is this topic important for teaching/student learning? How does the current research on this topic inform/what are the implications for educational practice? What questions remain to be answered regarding this topic and educational practice? Your podcast or informational handout should be aimed at informing a non-academic audience (e.g., teachers, parents, community members). If you choose to create a podcast, it should be at least 5 minutes long. If you choose to make an informational handout, it should be at least 2 pages (1 page front and back). Informational handouts should be colorful, appealing, and accessible to parents, teachers, and/or community members (people outside of educational research). Make sure to credit the researchers whose findings you are discussing in your podcast or instructional handout. Additionally, along with your informational handout or podcast, please submit an APA 7th Edition formatted reference list of the peer-reviewed sources you used for your project.
