Instructions: Visit TED.com. Find a speaker or TEDTalk that interests you. Research the speaker independent of TED.com. Using 3+ resources, document the speaker’s expertise on the subject matter. You should provide a 25- to 50-word analysis of their expertise and provide a complete bibliography for the resources used for your analysis. If the speaker’s master claim or grounds is inaccurate your research can address that.
Example: Lloyd Peterson documents Utah’s program to end homelessness by providing the homeless a free home. Initially, the program was a great success. Recently, however, homelessness has been revisited, with the original problem being reconsidered. A more nuanced understanding of homelessness is required with new solutions coming on board to address the issue.
