The concept of development.
In this module's Learn section, you explored the concept of development. The authors provided you with thoughts on both the causes of development and various methods by which development may be measured. What do the authors mean by "development"? What indicators are most useful and effective in measuring development? What indicators, if any, should be added to those described by the authors? How might one go about distinguishing between causes and effects? For example, is wealth a cause of development, evidence of development, or a neutral characteristic that is neither a cause or an effect of development? What about liberty?

At same time though being wealthy itself not necessarily guarantee secure future since often relies heavily external factors beyond person control thus increasing chance success being achieved desired outcomes reached eventually foreseeable future end user requirements met smoothly consistently given budget constraints available .
In terms liberty this largely depends context considered example countries without freedom expression speech likely experience stagnated economic growth due lack innovation individual creativity which crucial elements overall long term success . Moreover even societies with entrenched democratic systems still face challenges related civil rights discrimination therefore understanding importance protecting have access basic human liberties just important achieving sustainable development all levels throughout entire world end user requirements met smoothly consistently given budget constraints available
