1. Research the GASB and its mission. To do this assignment, follow instructions in Chapter 15 – Exercise 15. Here you will conduct research on www.gasb.org citing the mission and purpose of the GASB. Also, research their current project agenda and the purpose of the GASB advisory council. Minimum length: 1 page, double spaced.
2. Research the accounting issue and formulize your findings in a formal research memo. The formal memo should be in good form with proper grammar, conveying the results of your research. Students are welcome to discuss the case with each other; however, each student is responsible for writing his/her own research memo.
3. Submit completed research memo by Sunday 11:59 pm CT.
