The legal drinking age

            Should the legal drinking age be changed from 21 and lowered to 18 years old? If you were a Senator in your State, would you vote yes or no for this law change? Explain your reasoning for voting for yes or no to lower the drinking age from 21 to 18 in the United States?

Additionally there is potential for increased DUI rates among young drivers if the legal drinking age were lowered, which can endanger both themselves and other motorists on roads . Furthermore lowering minimum purchasing age alcohol promote culture excessive intoxication/overconsumption among youth thus leading even more severe health issues down line . For these reasons believe keeping current laws place is best option moving forward into future because it discourages minors from taking part activities like this while still allowing those turn 21 years old responsibly enjoy privileges come along adulthood relatively safely (ie: attending bars , concerts etc..) without risk being exposed potentially dangerous situations overall .
