  "In this paper, I will provide discourse for cognitive enhancements that are the viewed as the biggest threat to personal identity. I will advocate for Transhumanism and the effects, positive promises – as well as some potential dangers – of the use of technology and science to succeed essential human limitations. I will argue the cognitive enhancements that allow humanity to embrace self-directed human evolution. I plan on discussing the World Transhumanist Association (Humanity+), an organization that advocates for the ethical use (most importantly) of technology to expand human capacities. A primary example of this being the strategy and advocacy of human life extension. I will provide specific examples and details of current enhancements, such as Neuralink, a technological implant that allows the brain to act as a human terminal to the internet. I will also explore other enhancements, such as bionic arms and hands, and the impact they have on humanity. The cognitive enhancements viewed as the biggest threats to personal identity should not be feared."
