Write an essay that compares the style of the assigned readings of Churchill and Darnton. Style can mean literary and/or historiographical. Because the two are so different, pointing out differences should be fairly easy.
However, you must also use at least three examples from each author, which means a minimum of six examples in total. Each of these examples should be correctly footnoted. “Correct” means long-form of footnote where appropriate, short-form where appropriate, and “ibid.” where appropriate. In other words, the point of this is to show your understanding of the various footnote formats.
The text of the essay should be at least two pages and not more than four. A cover page, which is not required, does not count as a page of text.
After the text of the essay, force a page break. Do not just hit enter until a new page occurs; force a page break.
On the last page, create a Reference page (bibliography). This should have two, proper bibliographic entries.
