” Ernest Hemingway’s “Hills Like White Elephants” is a short work concentrating on a conversation between the protagonist and Jig. He is urging the girl to have some sort of a procedure to which she seems to be resistant. Please write a five paragraph rough draft (each paragraph needs to be between 5 and 7 sentences long) discussing three symbols and how they help you to understand the topic of the conversation. For instance, you could discuss the elephants (think of the saying, an “elephant in the room”), the drinking (think of becoming numb), and the suitcases (think of emotional baggage) as leading toward your analysis.”
