Travel and Ad

Choose a place (real or fictional) and create an advertisement for that place.  Your goal is to create an ad that conveys a specific idea or feeling associated with that place AND motivates your audience to visit it.

Consider your:

Primary message, the point of view, and purpose;

The social, cultural, and historical context of your illustration;

Your intended audience(s); and

The travel genre conventions you want to portray, reinterpret, or subvert (as described and presented in our course readings).

Your ad must have some kind of visual component.

Your ad must have a short slogan.

Your ad copy (slogan) should be short and sweet, packing a lot of information in few words.
