Choose the treaties （for example, Treaty of New Echota, Treaty of Hopewell 1785, Treaty of Hopewell 1785)
from Cherokee, tribes to write a 3 pages paper that does not merely summarize or describe the treaty. Include some aspect (s) of historical perspective, what laws/acts you know from our course(for example, Removal act)that may be relative to the treaty. You may also include information you find about the tribe at that time or who they are today. Look at the language used in the treaty and what implications you might interpret.
For the tribes that have several treaties, you may look into a few of them and see if there are significant changes or influences.
Consider the region of where the tribe was located during the treaty signing or is located today.
