Understanding of intersectionality/interlocking oppressions
How did your understanding of intersectionality/interlocking oppressions have evolve from the first week through the last week, especially in relation to "using" the foundational theories and other assigned, "applied" articles. (Please write about at least 2 of the foundational theories) to help you describe your thoughts AND provide direct quotes/page numbers that illustrate this evolved understanding. The easiest thing to do is to, of course, look at your readings assignments and copy/paste the quotes, (If you think about it, this is just standard practice: showing your audience where you got your ideas.)
the sociological imagination (Mills)
feminism (hooks)
experience (Scott)
the concepts of intersectionality and interlocking oppressions (Crenshaw; Nakano-Glenn)
functionalism (Gans)
