I. Elements of the crime On September 2006, Lori Drew, along with her daughter and her employee decided to create a fake Myspace account. The reason they created a fake Myspace account was to find out if a thirteen-year-old girl, Megan Meier, was disseminating rumors about Loris Drew daughter. Megan Meier lived right across the street from the Drews family and was a classmate of Lori Drews daughter. Lori Drew created an account of a non-existent sixteen-year-old boy named Josh Evans. Lori Drew had constant communication with Megan Meier through Josh Evans Myspace account, talking in a flirtatious way.
