After reading and watching the videos from Simple Interactions, please respond to the following questions: 1. What connections can you make between this module and your own life or other learning? 2. What ideas or positions do you want to challenge in this module? 3. What key concepts or ideas do you think are important and worth holding on to? 4. Another concept from this module that I feel should be challenged is the idea of “structured” conversations; while having an agenda or structure for certain conversations may work well for some people, there are likely those who may find it limiting or restrictive. Furthermore, I believe there needs to be more emphasis placed on the importance of understanding one another before trying to come up with solutions - something which requires both parties being willing/able to openly share their thoughts/feelings without fear of judgement. In terms of key concepts worth holding onto, one thing that stood out was the notion of meaningful dialogue – something which involves actively listening and responding back in kind with empathy and respect. This includes ensuring each person feels heard by asking questions about what they said if needed as well as avoiding making assumptions about what someone else might think or feel based upon past experiences etc. Additionally, building trust through consistent follow-up after a conversation has been had is also incredibly important for sustaining any relationship into the future. Finally, after viewing this module my thinking changed significantly regarding how important it is for all parties involved in a discussion take turns speaking/listening while remaining open-minded throughout. This type of approach encourages collaboration between individuals which can lead towards better outcomes even if disagreements exist initially because everyone gets an equal opportunity share their perspective without interruption or judgement!

Sample Solution

After reading and watching the videos from Simple Interactions, I was able to make a few connections to my own life. The first is how important it is to remember that everyone has their own unique set of values and beliefs which guide their interactions with others; this means that we need to be aware of these differences when communicating so as not to impose our views on someone else but rather try to find common ground between us. Additionally, I also realized that non-verbal communication can often be just as powerful (if not more so) than verbal communication in some cases – something I definitely want to pay more attention too going forward!
