You are an elementary school nurse in your community school district. One of the students come to your office/clinic today complaining of “being hot and feeling lousy”. The student is coughing, has a runny nose, and teary, red eyes. Upon examination, you determine that the student is febrile and has tiny white spots on a reddened buccal mucosa. It has been a long time since you have seen anything like this, but you suspect the student may be coming down with the measles.
